A smile teases on my lips
but doesn't reflect in the eyes
Laughter echos out of my mouth
But doesn't come from the heart.
A something is dead in me.
The signs have been very clear
Am just being adamantly foolish
Feigning i didn't really realize
that darkness was creeping on us.
The cloud had been hovering around.
I don't know why am holding back
Yet the negative energy is so strong
Where to start is quite a tussle
words have definitely failed me
and action is a bit illegible
